The Latest in Chilean Music, Postcards, Guidebooks and More

Here's what's going on:

- Chileno's compilation of Chilean music increases as Rodrigo Jarque (myspace, last.fm ethereal, melodic also apparently soundtracking for Matias Bize...in bed tee-hee) is recommended by Irene from the promising new music blog called crack and cowbells or something.

-Nothing like the Internet to not transcend antiquated forms of clutter communication, Kyle does Chile postcards.

-I vacation in Austria to learn German.

-Wayne begins a craven purge of all his South America guidebooks, so now you can get FREE GUIDE BOOKS TO SOUTH AMERICA if you register a pulse, that is, win one of his contests. Sadly, the first contest takes like 10 contestants before someone gets it right and then he has trouble getting the winner to claim the prize. If you're thinking what I'm thinking, folks, here's a clear opportunity to make a small fortune in arbitrage if you subscribe to his blog, check it hourly, pounce every time he opens up the lines, and clean him out.

Thank you for the introduction.

I must really add that Matias Bize's movies - at least the three I've seen (About Crying, Saturday and In Bed)- are really good. You have really nice artists in your country :)

Where have you been Chileno? Lots of crickets chirping on this site the past several weeks!

It wasn't *that* hard for Wayne to contact me... we did finally connect and my book arrived this weekend. Hopefully I can buy him a drink when he next gets to Seattle.
