Chilean Diabetic Guy Dead

And his body was found quite a while ago. Yesterday I blogged that he was missing but I've deleted that post because it just isn't relevant. Normally I would do something vaguely resembling fact-checking before slapping up a photo of a dead guy and calling him "missing" a week after everyone knows he's dead but you know what I've got shit going on missing stories don't pique my interest so how should I have known? The only reason this story piqued my interest was because his brother's part of the Valdivia Film Festival so it was a bit of art scene-solidarity if you know what I mean. It didn't even pique my interest I was just posting out of solidarity and if I went missing I would expect the same - don't stop and fact-check when my life could be on the line.

Even if it's late. I didn't know he was found why should I have? I went right to the "missing" blog they slapped up for him and it appears he's lost, but in actually he's gone. Deepest condolences.

I think I'm missing, an you help me out?

Remember there is no "delete" for us RSS feed readers... there is still a dead guy here smiling at me in my feed reader. Which is kinda eerie in a way.

No reason to "apologize" my dear! Juan Pablo was uninteresting and a pouser with a bad "Jerry Curlz". What makes him so special compared to many other countless people, especially children, who go missing?

Me heartless? I'M the one who wrote "deepest condolences" in the above post.

What did you write, Wembley?

What's that? Nothing? You didn't breathe a word of condolences for the departed?

No, of course not. Instead, you turned an innocent boy's death into an opportunity to get your dagger in, a let's-bring-down-Chileno moment (the kind you live for). But this is not a time to go on the attack. Not while others weep.

I don't usually assign forced labor as punishment to my readers but you really have no humanity. Therefore I'm assigning you to Sensitivity Training. Do penance. Go over to his "Missing" site and read the message board.

Then, perhaps, you'll think twice about using a real person's death for shameless personal agenda of petty bickering and oneupmanship.
