Chile's President: Shotgun Gramma & The Really Wena Naty

OMG - Guess what!

Michelle Bachelet, you know, the President of Chile - well guess what her son just knocked up this Chilean slum girl named Natalia Compagnon Soto (from Puente Alto) and they're having a shotgun wedding, and Bachelet's happy cuz she's gonna be a gramma!

Big deal, right? Well what if I told you that 10 years ago Natalia Compagnon Soto was the "exchange sister" of one of our very own Chile bloggers - Kyle Hepp!

That's right, and you heard it first on Chileno. Kyle spent time in Chile with Natalia's family, and so naturally Natalia went to stay with Kyle's family in the USA. But in an exclusive Natalia Compagnon tell-all blog post, Kyle reveals the sordid details of Natalia's revulsion toward everything anglophonic and gringo. Writes Kyle:
[Natalia] arrived in the U.S. and even though she was supposed to stay for 2 or 3 months, she never unpacked. She refused to speak English at all. And I totally understand that for a few days...But, after the first week she still didn't want to try. I took her to school with me one day. She was supposed to come every day. But she didn't want to. Instead she stayed home and would call my mom every day to have her order a pizza to be delivered. I can't remember how long she lasted, but she didn't stay with us for very long. I'm really not sure why she hated everything so much. But she went back to Chile a few months earlier than she was supposed to and after that I never heard from her again.
Big deal, right? Well what if I told you that now that she's slipped into the prince's pants she's all hoity toity and you know what hoity toity is in Chile it's slobber on everything gringo.

My point? Well guess what - El Mercurio did a big profile on her last year and it said that Miss Compagnon was headed to go study in the USA with her boyfriend and she's all la-dee-da about it.

What unadulterated, hypocritical chilensis if you ask me.

Of course this shocking exposé would pack a lot more punch if I could directly source that Mercurio article, but then again maybe not because I smell scandal and cover up.

Not only did the one paper copy of the Mercurio article I've heard of get burned for kindling by the person who told me about it, but now a quick sitewide search of Mercurio articles for Natalia Compagnon Soto suggests that any mention of her has been obliterated from the Internet.

What's more is that an image search for Ms. Love-Hate-the-USA shows warpigs.cl, but that site is mysteriously down, anything more than a grainy-at-best thumbnail not available. Not any photos? Not so fast:

You saw it first here - Chileno has uncovered an exclusive and damning picture of Natalia Compagnon Soto as a teenager:

Natalia Compagnon Soto

From left to right Natalia Compagnon Soto , some dude, Kyle Hepp, some dude Kyle's Mom.

As you can see Kyle's expression displays the pure light of a sweet, genuine, caring and optimistic young girl, traits which she'll carry with her up to present day, while Natalia Compagnon's evil eyes betray a cold and calculating cynicism, her spindly, witch-like fingers inadvertently rubbing up against one another as she plots out her next move from rags to riches, bringing us to today, her labyrinthine life has been demarcated by carefully aligned stepping stones, secret passageways and reprehensible arrivism that has successfully inducted her into the Bachelet dynasty, and future domination of Chile.

Beware!

This is very typical of the newspapers trying to hype up a person, clearly not worth the attention, into something they are clearly not; anyone remember the "Geisha-Chilena"? The Mercurio piece is just a bad example of how journalism leans so much towards the "pouf" pieces.

Was not this post sort of the "very typical" thing but in English? Where is the news here? How can you call anybody a "slum girl" in a third world country anyway? Besides, referring in this fashion to somebody in a language they can't understand is not only unfair, it's simply cruel.

Yo, "micro", it's her damn fault she can't speak English she got lifted out of the slums and given an opportunity for English language immersion most Chileans would kill for. Only to throw it away. THEN she turns around and says the USA is God's gift to the planet. Can't have her pizza pie and eat it too. Says a lot about you that you would take her side. Furthermore, how do you know she didn't eventually learn English anyway? If I were her, I would not let a presumptuous ape like you to come to my defense.

You're such a miserable sack of misdirected, illogical nonsense.

You ask:

>>>Where is the news here?

Ah, you would insult your own country by reaffirming the impression that Chile is an irony-free zone. You're such a boor.

>>>Was not this post sort of the "very typical" thing but in English?

What, like English is supposed to be an inherently elevated form of expression over Spanish? You obviously think that, proven you have nothing more than an infantile, Disney-esque view of the world. (Not to mention self-loathing).

Lastly, since when did you become some sort of moral authority on Cruelty? And then you go and put your picture on the Internet.

Oh I had no intention of defending her, I was criticizing the article, you missed the point. Actually I don't even know if "you" exist. As far as I can tell this site might be run by several different personalities. Oh but I'm not talking schizophrenia. I'm not all that good with the DSM.

But I guess somebody really did do his homework on my views of the world, awesome. I'll send the bill since it was clearly much better than my shrink.

You see I can be ironic. I'm actually quite good at it, but It's really not my style, doesn't seem to get anybody anywhere so I prefer to avoid it.

Complaining seems much more effective directly, even in Chile.

hey, wind down a notch chileno, you want comments but won`t take criticism?? btw the royal Naty may be many things, but "arrivism"?.. mmm... I wonder were she is arriving to... cheers ff

I take criticism, and I dish it back. Got a problem with that? Arrivism is social climbing. Getting yourself knocked up and married to the son of the President of the Republic is very likely a form of that. More evidence, she's two-faced about her feelings for the US. She hated the US, but she knows to play the game by praising it. I'm working on substance, something you, flavia, have been unable to provide so far.
