Vote for Chileno.
It's easy. It takes about 5 seconds then you're done.
Truth be told, it'll prolly be the easiest, most satisfying accomplishment of your day. OH! If only you could come back tomorrow and do it all over again! If only...
Well, Good News: you can!
In fact, you really should: come back and vote for me every 24 hours. Vote for Chileno, once a day, every day.
Voting closes November 8, so don't forget: vote for me once a day.
This is a really good opportunity for you. It's like 7 Days of Accomplishment, Satisfaction and a Positive Glow that will turn itself into a Visible Aura by the end of the week. No joke. You'll be doing good for the World, and the World will be doing good back for you.
I know, I know. You're asking yourself: is that all I can do for Chileno? The answer is a resounding NO and in fact if you don't spam a hundred of your closest friends, then what kinduva friend are you, anyway? That's what I thought. Here are your instructions:
1. Copy and paste the following into an email:
I'm kinda crazy, I know. Not only do I always vote for other people's online contests, but I've been known to spam my own friends and blog about it too. I voted for Chilean filmmaker Niles Atallah and I helped Mo Mandell win $10,000 and get a spot on Comedy Central.
Not because I'm a nice guy, but because now I have a clutch on their Souls and if they don't vote for me now they are going to Hell.
Also in my Grip of Death is Kyle, I've voted for her shit on numerous occasions and there are a few other people out there know who you are. And I know where you live.
Moving right along. You voted for me, you've resolved to come back and vote for me once a day, and you sent an email to all your friends telling them to do the same...so, now what?
Not only was it too easy to help me, but there's another problem: if you stop here, then chances are the only thing awaiting you is real work. *Ick*. So help me help you help me by offering more ways to get in touch with your good friends, avoid working for the Man.
Got AIM? Gmail Chat? Yahoo? MSN Messenger? Skype? Excellent. Now go spam everyone on your lists with the following:
Blog about me, link to me, write to your friends about me, tell your friends about me. Vote for me, then come back tomorrow and vote for me again, and the next day too!
Do it for the Chile-dren.
God Bless you!

Vote for my friend, Chileno! It's that easy! And your friends will love you because you'll be giving them a chance to do something good for the world. I'm serious. Chile has a lot to offer the world and it's seriously underrepresented. Do it for the Chile-dren. I also pulled together the biggest, most helpful Chile blog directory and review page on the Internet. And it's still growing. And since I'm the only blog from Chile that made it as a Finalist, now's the time for you to hedge your bets and rally around me, because I'm the best thing since sliced bread for Chile blogs. I'm a Uniter, not a Divider. A vote for me is a vote for all of Chile's blogs. Vote for Chileno Right Now.

I did my part, but you're losing by 26 :(
Did you do everything you could? Email, IM, mark your calender to come back tomorrow? And the next day?
Did you blog about this contest? Joel, go write an entry in your blog right away linking to the contest and email all your friends. That's give me a powerful boost.
Thanks!
Sorry that you're running against a Cuban blog-- you know those people (offense directed at either race or politics, you decide what offends you more) can be pushed into doing anything...
This has been my official cherry popping in the S&M dungeon of the internet... I hope that means something to someone... Good luck, I do really enjoy checking in...
The "chile-dren" bit almost made me NOT vote. But recognizing it as witty sarcasm on pandering desseed up as pandering, I went and voted. ;)
You're still getting your clock cleaned by Cubans though. Go figure.

Yeah, I'm voting every day !
It's nice to see you 'championing' our Chile, as well as valid criticism.
Incidentally, the Canadian dollar (formerly the 'northern peso') today hit $1.07 US!!Our generous shops at the border now have signs "US dollar accepted at par".
This, after reading that reversed in US shops - for about 30 years!
Must be all the nasty oil-sands in Alberta. We expect to be invaded any day now ;-)
A que ser bien imbécil para votar por un blog "chileno" escrito en inglés....súper representativo
José Toribo your comment is both xenophobic and ahistorical.
Xenophobic, because that would be just like saying a Spanish language blog wouldn't qualify to represent the United States. Or a blog in any non-English language. Did you know there is NO OFFICIAL LANGUAGE IN THE UNITED STATES? I bet you didn't. But we're talking about Chile where I assume it's Spanish. So, we're going to impose the government's wisdom upon the digital world, like they did with Microsoft and the OLPC project? I think not. English language Chile blogging is perfectly legit.
And if it isn't, why are you reading this blog in the first place? You being Chilean, the blog being in English 'n all..
súper representativo
It IS representative because it's the only blog from Chile you nitwit. Now, if I was competing against a Spanish language Chilean blog only then would it make any kind of logical sense to make your xenophobic argument, and even then it would be wrong of course. But at this point you don't even have that. You are so fucking stupid. For the Love of God I hope you don't claim to represent Chile.
Back to your linguistic xenophobia, José, you know if we're going to discriminate against the English language we might as well discriminate against the cuico dialect, too. I mean, where do you draw the line? Simply put, you can't draw the line unless you want based on arbitrary, ill-informed, political or xenophobic tendencies. I have a degree in Linguistics. Try reading a book - a novel experience for you, I'm sure - before you come back and waste my time.
José your xenophobia is ahistorical because if it weren't for England you'd be nothin' and I don't say this as an insult, I hope you're not insulted because plenty of Chileans I've met love to suck European cock. And out of all European countries the UK & Ireland and Ireland are lejos the most relevant outside of Spain. Your beloved Bernardo O'Higgins, half Irish, but the real military savior of Chile, one Thomas Cochrane, a died in the wool British pirate. Do you know anything about your own fucking history??? For Christ's sake you are such a pathetic boor, José Toribo.
Lastly, there's a fucking translate .google.com button on the right hand side so if you can't stomach English then just shut up and read this blog in Spanish.
Have you seen that blog about Cuba? Man, you've got a tough fight ahead when you're facing in depth coverage of current human rights abuses like what they're covering over there. I mean, did you read the one about marking peoples hands in Venezuela!? I had no idea to be honest. I knew things were going to hell in a handbasket, but didn't know it was to that point yet.
Okay, traitor.
I've been voting :)
Good luck, that's exciting stuff!
Do you know who José Toribio is?? Spooky, baby!
