, it's the second time Cait's gotten her radical feminist agenda featured here just by leaving a comment. But all the Influence in the world couldn't make me "ambitious" enough to do a Santiago Pill Spot Directory like she suggested. Unless she can fund it with her baby killing clinics or Oxfam or whatever.
In the meantime, I just made some detours into the rich part of town, while running errands today. Two of the three pharmacies I stopped in at stock PostDay, a progestin-only morning after pill. You need a prescription, and it costs about US $10 for a dose.
At another pharmacy I asked the guy about the controversy and he said that there had been some controversy but now they were selling it.
At the third pharmacy I informed the pharmacist that it was illegal not to sell the pill, she denied that, said something about it being an ongoing debate. I told them I'd be notifying the police.

hey man, that's all the effort you needed to exert, just translate that shit into spanish and chuck it up on elantro.cl (of wena naty fame, fuckers) and use their immense influence over Chile's tweens-to-teens population for good, and not evil!
by the way, i'm totally down with the mace-contra-jotes idea, and I think kyle is on the right track by abusing the shit out of every sleazy-ass jote out there...I reckon one gringa at a time,they'll start to get the message (or at the very least I feel justified in releasing the inner dragon on someone!!!)

Now for the second part of your experiment come to my neighborhood to see if you can get the morning after pill here. Estacion Central is high class and the pharmacies definitely care about how their clientel would react to not having access to the pill.
If a woman goes to the pharmacy with a prespription from the right (and illustrious) doctor, the patient will not have a problem getting the pill.
Women in Chile(with the access to resources)have gotten abortions since the early part of the 20th century. The only difference that back then people did not spill their "dirty laundry".
Ten bucks says Wembley already tried the morning after pill.
