Pablo Neruda's Final Thrust

Mark Eisner from the Red Poppy needs your support one last time as he nears the finish of his Documentary Film about Chilean poet Pablo Neruda. Almost there, give 'em that extra push with a $35 donation and you'll get a free DVD, a bigger donation and you'll get your name in the credits.

Go to RedPoppy.NET and Make a Donation Now.

Not sure yet?

Read more about the project here [Word Document], early on describes Pablo Neruda as "a profound hero with great hypocrisies". I approve.

I don't approve of Gabriel Garcia's unequivocal Neruda-chauvinism but in his defense he says he's the best poet in the 20th century World, not just Chile, so he's picked quit an opponent to lash out against with hyperbole. We've had a discussion about Chilean poet Pablo Neruda's legacy, but in the meantime Mark's got a Film to Finish, and again if you donate just $35 you'll get a free DVD and learn a lot more about the poet than you will be reading my blog :-)
