Flight of the Platypus: Chile Blog Review

This is a review of Paul's blog, Flight of the Platypus.

Biker, physicist, great point-and-clicker, this guy gets around Chile, shoots prolifically and helps capture the essence of a variety of landscapes including Pucón, Laguna Verde, Talca, La Serena - he's Santiago based. He's also figured out how to blow up the pictures and that's really the only way to go with this blogging format, and Paul inserts his signature literally as well as via a single black and white shot slipped in among the many, in some of the posts.

His stories can be amusing, too, just go to the home page and scroll down to where he gets pissed off at some guy for throwing a beer bottle out into pristine nature. Not so much his environmentalism, but his propensity for self-righteousness and starting petty fights tells me I've got another friend in the Chilean-placed blogosphere. Could do without so many Hondas, as bad-ass as I'm sure they are. I do sympathize with Paul's terrifying encounter with a cow as he writes, "I have never been happier to see a cow's udders." Solidarity.

So what do you think of Paul's blog? Write a review in the comments below.

And once you're done, you back and knock yourself out reading and writing more Chile blog reviews!

I like his pictures. I'm too tired to read right now though, so I'll come back to this later.
