Santiago in Beta

If anyone were to warn them, the Recoleta district of Santiago would probably say "beta is better than nothing" when defending their decision to let Google take their e-government [ES] bull by its horns, certainly better than the eternal ipsilon that is Transantiago. In addition to "e-government" whoever wrote the article sounds more excited about the office productivity package functionality for what seems like government workers and anyone else who wants, it's a little vague. Should I be excited about this?
