Ah! The lovely mix of a cloudy day with smog. I live pretty close to that bridge... that barren spot gives me the creeps, I always skirt it! You should have seen how the cordillera looked after that day it snowed down to the bottom though, man that 6am walk to university was one of the best, even with the ice-covered ground.

Yeah that day was spectacular no matter where you were, because the concomitant rainfall in the valley made the freshly powdered mountains visible, so it was like 7 planets aligning, once in a lifetime really.

g at the fact I had to be out walking for 20 minutes at 7:30am... but since there was no smog and the sun was hidden behind the mountains, I got a really good view of the cordillera, white to the very bottom.

I slipped twice on the ice, but man it was the best morning walk I've had.
