Stop the Madness

Die-hard Chileno fans will remember that over a year ago, when Chile's Favorite Blog was but a fledgling chick, a series of mishaps seemed to spell out certain doom for its very existence. Chileno.com had been taken. Worse, I soon discovered that the Chilean embassy in Norway had pre-emptively stolen chile.no (ICANN, by the way, never responded to my complaints. So much for a safe, family-friendly internet). Anyway, when I thought the situation couldn't get direr, my hopes were dashed by sweet Ile over at Ile.no. Ile refused her international civic duty to gracefully forfeit her domain for a better cause: ch.ile.no.

After a transgression like that, you would think Ile'd have the decency to not show her face. Lamentably, that's not the case. In fact, she's been audacious enough to keep plugging along, happy as ever, even bragging about while Chileno suffers in silence: c.hileno.com. A warped hack of a young little domain name, if you ask me.

It gets worse. Ile.no is now iler.no. But she's still squatting on ile.no. What's she doing that for? Why can't I have it?!

This madness must end.
