State Funeral for Pinochet?

Apparently not. Damnit. I'd hoped the pro-criminal fascists would win out and honor the thug with a state funeral, to show the world just how absurd is, as the Chilean saying goes, life in the tropics.

Still, though, by reading Tomas Dinges' superb coverage of Pinochet's Death, we discover that although there won't be a state funeral, there will be a military funeral AND Chile's president Bachelet, whose was tortured by Pinochet's secret police, agreed to let the flag be hung at half mast...officially. Like we did for David Koresh. Makes sense.

Apparently, though, that's not enough for loyal to the ender we see in the video here. According to him, it's up to the military to decide about the state funeral, not the state. Works for me:
