October Showers bring November Flowers
After the recent daylight savings time change in Chile, our time zone, once forthrightly piercing northward and unbroken toward New York, has now slipped off somewhere into the Atlantic.
Worse, once the northern hemisphere "fall's back" our once-grand time zone will be pushed even further out...into the Bermuda Triangle.
I'm going to refrain from turning this into a metaphor for my life.
In fact, the outcome is pretty good. As Chile loses an hour, and the United States gains an hour, I'm personally gaining two hours. (Do the math!). The 9pm sunsets don't hurt either, and crisp clean air after the rain, visible mountain range, etc. So it's not a bad deal - it's Spring!
