Chileno - Chile's Favorite Blog
I know. I can't believe it either. Who would have thought such an honor would come to me? Humble me.
But it's true: CHILENO is now Chile's Favorite Blog.
I just nominated myself this afternoon, and in the 6 hours since slapping up the new, spiffy banner, nobody has contested Chileno's standing as Chile's favorite blog!
Friends, family, I can't believe it. I'm in a mild state of shock. This means Chileno is still, uncontestedly, the best blog in Chile.
I understand, however, that this honor places great responsibility upon my shoulders. Not the least of which is a heavy heart: to all you Chilean bloggers out there who vied so hard for this standing, I express my deepest, most heartfelt condolences.
I hope we can work together.
After all, blogging is about community. It's about dialogue and understanding. It's about mutual support, exchanging ideas and coming together to gain a better grasp of the world around us.
Quick reminder, though: I'm Chile's Favorite Blog.
While uncontested, however, my standing may be disputed. I encourage a robust debate about the merits of my blog, Chileno. Go ahead and blog your scathing indictment - or jubilant praise - of this blog about Chile, travel, living in Santiago, The Chacabuco Project and much much more. (It's one of the most entertaining places to be online).
When you blog about Chileno, be sure to shout out so I can hear you good. At the end of your entry, just cut and paste following code:

Well then if it is, you owe it your self and Chile to post on a more consistent basis. Sometimes days pass and nothing is uploaded. :( We all know once you start a blog it becomes like a an infant child that needs all of your attention.
Yo, FL, at the rate your going I'll have to write like 5 posts a day to give you fresh material to comment on. You're an animal!
HI
Well then why don't you? ;) And while your at it your blog become more widley popular. Touching many people. I read an interesting article written by New York Magazine on the blog hierarchy and how some are related to each other. You should take a look at it. With that being said you have a very fresh take on chronicling Chilean current events. Peace!
